Until 9th September next it is possible to visit in the spaces of the Mudec CORPUS an anthological exhibition of the Mexican artist Javier Marín. Thus, the artist returns to Milan ten years after the project that had invaded the city center, from Piazza della Scala to Palazzo Reale, with its Cabezas, large colorful sculptures with the features of female heads. In more than thirty years of career Javier Marín. has exhibited in a hundred personal and a significant number of collective around the world. His research focuses on the human being, exploiting the process of construction / deconstruction of three-dimensional forms, mainly because he mainly uses sculpture as a method of work.
WHY GO
Organized by Christian Barragán, the exhibition presents 36 works realized with different techniques and materials and in an extended period of time on the path of Javier Marín, to underline all the salient pbadages of his career. Some twenty works come from Mexico, including Reflejos and Nudos, from Pietrasanta's other 15 already existing, while the monumental sculpture in Cabeza Chico Grande wood comes from Val Gardena, designed and created specifically for this occasion with specialized craftsmen In the region.
