Entertainment Weekly continues to provide exclusive images of the films to be shown in the next edition of the Comic-Con in San Diego scheduled for next week.
Godzilla: The King of Monsters The sequel to Gareth Edwards hit movie, released in theaters in 2014.
In the two images, found below, the famous kaiju are visible when actresses Vera Farmiga and Millie Bobby Brown.
Godzilla's expected sequel will no longer arrive on March 22, 2019 in the United States, but on May 31 and two months later. In this way, the film will be released from Disney blockbusters like Captain Marvel (March 8) and Dumbo (March 29) and Shazam! (April 5), placed at the beginning of the summer season, a few weeks after the release of Avengers 4 (May 3) and Aladdin (May 24).
The new film will follow the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch. dealing with a group of gigantic monsters: Godzilla will face Mothra, Rodan and his sworn enemy, the king of the three Ghidorah heads. These ancient super-creatures (considered as mythological beasts) will return by aiming for supremacy and leaving human existence suspended by a thread.
Written by Zach Shields, the film will be produced by Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Brian Rogers and Thomas Tull, with Barry H. Waldman, Zach Shields, Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira as executive producers and Alexandra Mendes, co-producer of Legendary.
