Grayson Allen was quick to start his first fight in the NBA.
Playing his second match of the summer league, the rookie of Utah Jazz had a brief fight with his Atlanta Hawks counterpart Trae Young on Thursday night. Both rookies received a technical foul for the incident during Utah's 92-87 win in Salt Lake City.
Allen kept Young at the top of the arc early in the third quarter. When Young got up to shoot, his arm entangled with Allen's, and the two quarreled for a moment as Young tried to free himself.
The teammates moved quickly to separate the pair, while the referees also intervened. Both were badessed a technique, with Allen also receiving a personal foul.

Allen Downplayed 39 incident after the game.
"It's nothing you've seen and he after the high-five match, hug him, smile," Allen said. "Nothing more than a game in a very competitive and physical game."
Young noted Allen's reputation for three noticeable firing incidents at Duke, but ultimately downplayed Thursday's incident as well.
