You have already clicked on this post because of the title – because how not to have done it? – so I will not bury the lede and just let you dive right into one of the most #MMAThings ever (via Twitter ).

So to recap .. Johnathan Ivey simulates a heart attack, abandons Travis Fulton, continues to follow with GNP … then decides that he can no longer hit his idol in the face and runs away. #mmathings pic.twitter.com/grK54YhOe0

Here is the little bit of context we know: heavyweights Travis Fulton and Johnathan Ivey fought Saturday night at a Colosseum Combat event in Kokomo, Ind. They are both hunting companions, but that is Fulton, with over 300 (!) Professional fights under his belt, who has already experienced the big show; He participated in UFC 20 and UFC 21 in 1999. Apparently, the plot that followed this fight was that Ivey, who has nearly 100 fights under his belt, idolizes Fulton.

And so, as you see in the video As the advertisers mention, after Ivey simulated a heart attack in response to a body kick, he goes on the offensive and drops Fulton. Ivey begins to beat for the finish … until a consciousness attack invades him. He decides that he can no longer beat his idol

As I have said, one of the most #MMAThings of all time.

Ivey said that he no longer wanted to hit his idol in the face

about the weirdest thing ever in a cage

In hindsight, that's the only way this fight could have gone.

The Blue Corner is the space of MMAjunkie's blog. We do not take it too seriously, neither do you. If you come to complain that something you read here is not a new hit, expect to repeat the previous sentence in ALL CAPSULES.
