Lives in the Pistoiese, brought to the Meyer: the conditions are stable
(ANSA) – PISTOIA, JUNE 12 – A 7 month old girl, from the
Pistoiese, was hospitalized in a reserved prognosis after being
been affected by meningitis type B. The baby, born
last December she was brought from Pistoia to the Meyer Pediatric Hospital.
Hospital sources explain that its conditions are stable and
that the prognosis is reserved for the first 48 hours.
To publicize the case was the center Asl Tuscany to which
public health was notified to launch investigations,
already underway, to identify the people who had
close contact with the child for prophylaxis.
