MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Brad Miller's busy-goal race was forced into the winning heat of the 10th inning as the Brewers dominated the 6-5 Twins in Milwaukee on Monday evening.
Travis Shaw tied the game with a fly bag in the bottom of the ninth for the Crew, who broke a two-game skid. Manny Pina ran for Milwaukee, while Corey Knebel earned the credit for the win.
Robbie Grossman had a grand slam in the fifth inning for Minnesota, who lost a 5-1 lead. Zack Littell took the loss. The Twins have lost four games in a row and nine of their last 11.
The Brewers and Twins continue their three-game series Tuesday afternoon at Miller Park. Junior Guerra starts for the crew. Minnesota will send Jake Odorizzi.
