Denis Ten, Olympic bronze medalist in men's figure skating in 2014, died Thursday at the age of 25 after being stabbed in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Ten were taken to the hospital after the attack. Russian media reported that two men had tried to steal mirrors in Mr. Ten's car.
Born in Almaty, Ten was part of the Korean minority in Kazakhstan. He moved to Moscow to train at a level higher than 10 years, then to Southern California to work with the best American coach Frank Carroll.
