Payton, the No. 10 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, was traded from Orlando Magic to the Suns in February. He finished his 19 games with Phoenix.

On average, Payton had 12.7 points, 6.2 badists and 4.3 rebounds in his 2017-18 campaign, while he was shooting 49.3% and 32.6% [3]. The fourth-year guard was born in Gretna, Louisiana, and attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
