More fantastic football

Last week, Carlos Hyde was traded to Jacksonville, Amari Cooper was traded to Dallas and we had several notable injuries, including Marshawn Lynch (groin) and Ted Ginn (knee) lost for the season.

There will probably be a lot of changes on the eighth week lead, especially with four teams tied (Atlanta, Tennessee, Dallas and the Chargers). Unfortunately, there are not many star players to add this week.

Now, you should always target multiple players of the waiver thread – Raheem Mostert, Jalen Richard, Tre Quan Smith, Geronimo Allison, CJ Uzomah and Vance McDonald are the best options – but it does not seem that anybody should blow up the bank for with your FAAB budget. Nevertheless, be aggressive when there is someone who can help you, even if it is coming.

For example, I'm not sure that many Fantasy owners start Smith during week 8 in Minnesota. But with Ginn absent, he could have huge games until the end of the season, and I want him on my fantasy list if I have a free seat.

Editor's Note: For this waiver column, we only examine players belonging to less than 65% of the CBS sports leagues.
