The Utah Jazz Beat the San Antonio Spurs, 92-76, in the summer league of Utah at the Vivint Smart Home Arena on Monday. It was a dominant performance for the Jazz, which led at least 15 points for the entire second half. A 14-2 run at the start of the second quarter set the tone, giving Utah an insurmountable 18-point lead. The Jazz finished first with six points after the first quarter, with 17 points at half-time and 25 points in the fourth quarter. The rebound was an advantage for Utah, which surpbaded San Antonio with a margin of 52 to 41.

The only Spurs player (0-1) with more than 10 points was second-year goaltender Derrick White , which totaled 22 points. with seven rebounds and six badists. Rookie Chimeie Metu finished with 10 points and seven boards. Amida Brimah had nine points and nine rebounds

The Jazz (1-0) had five players reaching two digits in the score. Georges Niang, former player of Iowa State, led the team with 17 points and four rebounds.
