LONG POND, Pa. – Kyle Busch and his team Joe Gibbs Racing were in sync all over the track but the way to victory. When it was time to take pictures of the winners, some members flashed a finger, others held the shot 6.
Yes, it's a win for Pocono Raceway and six for the total this season.
Busch then heard his name shouted from the top of Richard Petty's 200 Victory Circle. He craned his neck toward the section where the words were flanked by two pictures of Petty in his feathered Stetson hat and his dark glbades.
Busch still has a long pursuit towards Petty on the Cup's win list, but he has not kept a star over seventeen, thinking up where he can go.

"You keep on reaching higher in the Scale and you continue to reach more milestone pilots, "said Busch." Tony Stewart is the # 39, one of the best of all time and one of the pilots I was a fan of growing up. It's great to be able to attach it. There are many more. We want to continue. "
Gibbs lined up cars for Busch and Stewart and said the two drivers were born for the race.
" Very talented, motivated, they want to go forward, "Gibbs said. Busch, who won eight victories in 2008, performed well at Pocono this weekend, with a win on Saturday in the Truck Series. He won for the 192nd time the Cup, Xfinity and Truck Series.
"How much can you get? I do not know. I would like to think that everything is achievable," said Busch.
He won the Cup this year in Texas, Bristol, Richmond, Charlotte and Chicagoland. He has not done more than three races without winning a race since April. Busch had never won at Pocono until July 2017. He has won 10 races since that date and has led more than 2,000 laps.

"I have a trophy problem," says Busch
Busch was to leave in second position, but his No. 18 Toyota was one of 13 cars dropped at the back of the platoon for a post-qualification inspection. The penalized cars included Harvick, who used a hump-and-run on the 18th to seven rounds last week in New Hampshire to topple Busch out of the race.

When the race resumed, Busch moved away and resumed his final race in overtime to add to the total victories. for NASCAR's Big Three: Busch, Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. have won 16 of the 21 Cup Series.
"What's crazy is how this year goes on," Busch said. "Harvick gets one, we get one, Truex gets one, we're all back and forth."
Busch held off two young drivers for their first career win. Daniel Suarez, the first Mexican rider to win pole in a Cup race, finished second and Alex Bowman third.
There are only five races left before the championship of the 16 selections is established.
Only seven drivers have wins this season.
Harvick had a shot at his seventh derailment victory when the Ford was damaged on the pit road and slid back to the back of the pack. Harvick is 0 to 36 in Pocono and has not won there yet or at Kentucky Speedway
