L'Aquila, 6 kidney transplants in 10 days

During the last ten days 6 kidney transplants at the Aquila hospital and other transplants, performed in other Italian hospitals, heart, liver, pancreas and lung. Thanks to the sensitivity of the family members of the deceased patients in various hospitals of Abruzzo it was possible to ensure the healing of various pathologies . This was announced by the press office of the Hospital of L'Aquila, explaining that the organs, under an act of generosity relatives of donors, were taken by people dead in the intensive care unit of Pescara Hospital, Teramo, Sulmona. To the list of these donations a living subject was added by a donor living in a municipality of Abruzzo. The acts of great altruism that have allowed the hospital of L'Aquila, where is the specific regional center, to perform 6 kidney transplants in just over a week thanks to a surgical graft led by prof.
