LeBron James and Los Angeles Lakers win their first win of the season

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have erased the zero of their column of victories.

The Lakers dominated the Phoenix Suns at the Talking Stick Resort Arena Tuesday night, clocking a 131-113 win, their first win of the season and James' first in the Lakers uniform.

While the match was tied a few seconds after the start of the second quarter, a quick 10-0 run, started by eight points from Lance Stephenson, finally pushed the Lakers forward.

The Suns could not do much to stop James throughout the match – and this was evident in the final seconds of the first half.

While there was only seven seconds left in the second quarter, James brought the ball to the field. He gestured in the back to shake Trevor Ariza before embarking on the path. When he was finally arrested, he did not try to get rid of it – he instead threw the glbad to himself before putting it down, giving the Lakers a 26-point lead at half-time.

And he made it look incredibly easy.

The Suns could not do much in the second half. The damage was caused as the Lakers advanced in the 18-point victory.

Stephenson led the Lakers with 23 points, eight rebounds and eight badists, scoring 10-14 of the game. Center JaVale McGee finished with 20 points and six rebounds. James – who did not see the pitch at all in the last quarter – finished with 19 points, 10 badists and 7 rebounds, scoring 7 shots on 16 of the field.

Devin Booker led the Suns with 23 points, seven rebounds and seven badists, and center Deandre Ayton finished with 22, shooting 11 of 14 from the field.

James and the Lakers are back to play Thursday night when they welcome the Nuggets to the Staples Center, an attempt to win their first win in Los Angeles.
