Risk of histamine, withdrawal of frozen tuna from supermarkets

The reference to "chemical risk" as stated in the notice published on the website of the Ministry was made necessary by the presence of a histamine level above the limits allowed by law "(3035 ppm). And it was ordered as a precaution by the company Memega & Prini srl of Bolzano who sold it wholesale. Excess of histamine can cause sgombroid syndrome, an allergic-type disease caused by the ingestion of altered fish.
