"It's frustrating, damn it," Cousins told reporters.
"It's hard, I'm in a gray zone regarding that, I'm trying to get back to myself and I just know that guys are denouncing me."
"Nobody in this league is going to feel sorry for me and I know it.
"I'm going to fight and fight as much as I can and do what I can." It's still a process for me but it's not an excuse.
"The guys are attacking me in the pick and roll, it's obvious.
"I just have to be ready for that, be prepared for it."
Cousins teammate Stephen Curry defended his colleague and said the entire team had to improve after the defeat 118-112.
"DeMarcus is grinding, putting his body where he wants to be and finding his rhythm and pace," Curry added.
"He did great games, but overall, our energy was bad and our attention to detail over the first six minutes.
"We have things to work on, we know we do not play our best."
