TUCSON, AZ – Former ITT Tech students who owed money in student loans will benefit from a break because of a settlement in Arizona and in 42 other states.
Attorney General Mark Brnovich said his office had secured debt relief of $ 3.98 million for 412 ITT Tech alumni students across the country.
Across the country, 18,000 ITT alumni will share $ 168 million.
ITT Tech closed its registration and declared bankruptcy in 2016 when CU CUonnect student CUUS, LLC opened an investigation for offering $ 189 million of abusive student loans to ITT students between 2009 and 2011.
