Jackie Chan fans return ‘Shang-Chi’ fighting movement – The Hollywood Reporter

Jackie Chan fans rumored Twitter on Saturday as they applauded an impressive fighting move in the highly anticipated upcoming Marvel movie Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings which appears to be inspired by the iconic martial artist.

The Peak hour the star was all the rage on the social media platform due to a discussion of a new clip from Shang-Chi released on Friday in which the superhero played by Simu Liu sends villains on a bus with mind-blowing movements.

Chan fans were elated when, in the middle of the grappling hook, Liu’s Shang-Chi coordinates his jacket in the fight, a move used by Chan’s Ma Hon Keung in Grabuge in the Bronx. The moment occurs near the start of the 1995 film when a gang terrorizes a Bronx supermarket run by Keung’s uncle. Chan is known for his fighting style in which he uses objects around him.

Fans assume that Shang-Chi The movement of the jacket is a tribute not a long shot. Andy Cheng, the fight coordinator on Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings, has worked with Chan several times in the past as a stuntman and assistant stunt choreographer on Peak hour, Rush hour 2, Shanghai Noon, Who am I? and Mr. Nice Guy.
