PITTSBURGH – Incredibly, and with a packed house for the first time this season, the Pirates have found a way to get three straight wins over the Mets.
After losing 6-0 in seven innings, the Pirates rallied on five points in the eighth, then won a grand slam from Jacob Stallings for a 9-7 victory over New York on Saturday at PNC Park.
It was the first time this season that a team had rallied to win a game after falling behind by six points or more before the eighth inning.
