Jada Pinkett Smith congratulates daughter Willow Smith for coming ‘into her femininity’

Jada Pinkett Smith had only words for her daughter Willow after the teenager rocked the sexy lingerie for the first time at Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Robbery. 2 show.

“ You really stepped into your femininity this year and showed the world your transformation during your fenty, ” Jada, 49, told her 19-year-old daughter on their Facebook Watch series, Red Table Talk.

Willow agreed and said the experience ushered in her year of ‘becoming a woman’.

Despite her fierce poses during the show, Willow was questioning herself before the event began.

“As soon as I got there I was like, ‘Oh my God, maybe I can’t handle this. Maybe that’s not my place, ”said Willow.

Once she put on the outfit, however, Willow changed her state of mind.

“It comes from my insecurity. I put on the clothes and I looked at myself and I said, “You’re going to come out and rock.” ‘

Jada had seen the outfit before the show, and Willow even faced her mom once she tried it on before the show.

The actress gave the look her seal of approval during their video chat.

“I was very surprised because I had never worn lingerie in all my life. My first time in front of the whole world wearing lingerie, ”Willow admitted. “I just felt so empowered. I felt like I was entering the year of lingerie and the year I was becoming a woman.

“I just want to continue to be more confident and feel more comfortable in myself.

Jada’s voice was full of warmth as she commented on her daughter’s progress.

“I’m just proud of the young woman you are becoming,” she said.

Willow was just one of many stars to work on the runway for Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Flight. 2 show in October.

The show took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center and saw figures like Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk and Cara Delevingne rock a range of racy looks.

The show aired on an Amazon Prime video and showed the stars rocking the singer’s breathtaking lingerie range.
