Jaguars at Vikings: initial injury reports for both teams

[ad_1]

With week 12 in the NFL. . .finally. . In the books, we can begin to fully focus our attention on Week 13 and the conclusion of the Minnesota Vikings’ three home games as they prepare to host the Jacksonville Jaguars. Both teams have released their first injury reports for the week, so let’s take a look at who’s training and who isn’t.

As always, we start with the visitor side.

Did not participate

  • LB Dakota Allen (hamstrings)
  • LB Kamalei Correa (hamstrings)
  • TE Ben Ellefson (knee)
  • DT including Hamilton (knee)

Limited participation

  • WR DJ Chark (plugged in)
  • WR Chris Conley (ribs)
  • CB Sidney Jones (Achilles)
  • RB Dare Ogunbowale (hand)
  • S Brandon Rusnak (rib / quad)
  • OT Jawaan Taylor (knee)
  • S Jarrod Wilson (shoulder)

Total participation

No player listed

Chark missed the Jaguars game against Cleveland last week, so he’s already ahead of what he was. He’s Jacksonville’s best goal in the passing game, so his progress this week will be something to watch.

Now let’s move on to the home team.

Did not participate

  • P Britton Colquitt (uninjured)
  • OT Rashod Hill (injury free)
  • TE Irv Smith Jr. (rear)
  • BY DJ Wonnum (ankle / back)

Limited participation

  • G Ezra Cleveland (ankle)
  • RB Dalvin Cook (ankle)
  • C Brett Jones (neck)

Total participation

No player listed

The big name here, obviously, is Cook, who needed some help off the field early in the third quarter in the win over the Panthers, but returned later in the game. I guess the Vikings are just careful with him at this point.

Cleveland has trained for the first time since the Chicago game, which is a positive sign. No word on the type of illness Colquitt and Hill are facing at this point. Hope this is nothing serious.

These are your first injury reports for the Vikings and Jaguars. Again, there are certain situations that we will definitely be watching out for, and we will have the interim damage reports here for you tomorrow.
