Some dubious coaches may have cost the Texans a win in the first week, but it was a dubious practice on the other side that helped them win a second week.

The Texans did not really enlighten their opponents against Jacksonville and are a little lucky not to need more football, but they bounced back after a bitter defeat against the Saints in the first week to return to 1-1. Deshaun Watson made 16 assists in 29, scoring 159 yards in the air and adding a touchdown to the ground. Carlos Hyde was Houston's top offensive player, scoring 90 rushing yards in 20 races.
The Jaguars will return home to face the Titans in the third week. The Texans will head west to face the Chargers.
