Jaime King has just taken a step forward in her relationship with boyfriend Sennett Devermont.
The actress, 42, made her relationship official on Instagram on Wednesday. The post comes amid her ongoing divorce from ex-husband Kyle Newman.
In the soft photograph, King is seen adoringly gazing at his beau as he wraps his arms around her.
“I love you ❤️” she captioned the photo.
King’s friends have left favorable comments for the couple, who were first seen together in December.
“I’m happy when you’re happy! F — anything and anyone else,” one supporter wrote as another commenter added, “You are my favorite! ❤️❤️.”
Devermont is an activist known for creating the Mr. Checkpoint app, which allows users to film police officers while interacting with traffic.

In May 2020, King filed for divorce from Newman, 45, after 12 years of marriage. The actress also filed a domestic violence prevention petition and an emergency child custody and visitation petition, as well as a temporary restraining order.
In court documents previously obtained by PEOPLE, King claimed Newman was denying him their sons – James Knight, 7, and Leo Thames, 6. Newman responded with his own series of allegations against King, including allegations of reckless behavior that endangered children. (King has denied his claims.)

In court documents filed later on November 4 and obtained by PEOPLE, Newman requested full physical custody of the sons of the exes, with King overseeing the alternate visits on weekends and one night per week.
Newman clarified in the documents: “I have been the primary caretaker for the children since birth and the children have spent the vast majority of 2020 in my sole custody.”
“Once again, Kyle’s attorneys have filed selectively drafted documents that perpetuate a false narrative about Jaime. Jaime’s top priority has been the welfare of his children and she will continue to pursue this in private for their sake. good, ”King’s rep to PEOPLE said in a statement.
Since then, Newman has welcomed a son, Etienne Noel Newman, on February 18 with his girlfriend, singer Cynthia Nabozny, 28, a source previously confirmed exclusively to PEOPLE.
