Fresh out of his knockout victory over former NBA guard Nate Robinson, Jake Paul is already challenging one of the biggest names in the fighting community and, according to the YouTube star, it’s going to happen.
Paul took to Twitter shortly after knocking out Robinson in the second round of their fight at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Saturday night to call UFC champion Conor McGregor for a future fight.

“I mean what fighter with that great platform calls Mcgregor?” his tweet read. “SON GONNA HAPPEN. YOU ALL SEE. “
Paul tagged McGregor’s manager Audie Attar, saying, “I’ll call you this week.”
The 23-year-old internet sensation is apparently keeping his promise, and this week confirmed to TMZ Sports that both sides are actively engaging in match-related talks.
“My team is talking to their manager but that’s all I’m going to say,” Paul said on the exit.
But Paul deepened the conversation, saying the fight made sense to McGregor, whom he called a “businessman.”

“No other fighter with that great rig calls McGregor… My dogs have more followers than the guy he fought in January on Instagram.”
Paul is not only certain that the fight will take place, he is also convinced that he will win.
“The Jake Paul vs. Conor McGregor fight is going to take place and it’s just a matter of when and it’s going to be legendary and I’m going to win too. That’s what I want people to really understand… I’m going to dedicate my life to winning this fight because I’m not going in there just to say I did. I’m going there to f — ing f — Conor McGregor up. “

McGregor has yet to comment on the challenge. He’s 22-4-0 in his UFC career, but lost his only professional boxing match in 2017 to Floyd Mayweather Jr., who won in the 10th round via TKO.
