YouTube star James Charles has lost more than a million subscribers over the past week.

According to the Social Blade website, James Charles now has 14.6 million subscribers, up from 16 million previously.

The decline in the number of 19-year-old media in social media – comes at a time when he is involved in a fight with fellow beauty blogger Tati Westbrook.

James Charles published a video in which he apologized for "everything I explained to you".

She published a 43-minute video in which she accused him of disloyalty.

Their relationship seemed to have broken down because of allegations that he had gone out of his way to promote a competing product to the one she had created.

In response to Tati's assertions, James Charles released an eight-minute apology video as well as several posts on Instagram dealing with the situation.

He said, "What is most nil is that I know I can not say anything or do anything to ever find that friendship or trust, but I do not blame them.

"Often, when I had to deal with problems in the past, I took impulsive measures and strove to get receipts, facts, or screenshots to play the victim.

"I do not do that today, I'm not, it's all I have to say, I'm sorry."
