Janice Freeman, a candidate on The voice in 2017, died at the age of 33 years.
Freeman's family confirmed his death TMZsaid: "She was at home in Pasadena with her husband, Dion, when she started complaining about not being able to breathe." On Saturday, her husband called 911 and then practiced CPR on Freeman until the paramedics arrived. Freeman was pronounced dead that night.
Freeman would have died of a blood clot that had moved into his heart. The singer was a survivor of cancer who had previously treated health problems, including cervical cancer, lupus and meningitis.
Tributes began pouring in on social media for the dead singer, including Voice Coach Jennifer Hudson told Freitas that "Freeman was a blessing and an inspiration to us all."
During season 13 of The voice in 2017, Freeman was featured on "Team Miley" and climbed to the top 11 of the show. She became a candidate following a blind audition of "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons, then interpreted in more detail an interpretation of Etta James of "Woman".
After his passage on The voiceFreeman and Miley Cyrus continued their friendship. The voice The coach even financially helped Freeman pay a deposit and six months' rent for an apartment for his family.
In response to this friendly gesture, Freeman posted a moving video thanking Cyrus: "Miley, you are my boyfriend, my best friend, and I will defend you until the end. This woman blessed me to move in. Do you understand? What she does not know is that I prayed for her.
