Jared Polis: Governor of Colorado and spouse tested positive for Covid-19

“Tonight Governor Polis and First Gentleman (Marlon) Reis learned that they had tested positive for COVID-19,” the statement read.

The two are feeling good and will continue to isolate themselves at home, the statement said.

“Marlon and I are feeling good so far and in a good mood. No one person or family is immune to this virus. I urge every Coloradan to exercise caution, limit public interactions, wear a mask in public, stay six feet from others, and wash your hands regularly, ”said Polis, a Democrat.

The governor will continue to be closely watched and “will continue to fulfill his duties and responsibilities and will continue to work remotely,” the statement said.
