The McCourty twins will stay together for the 2019 season.
According to many reports, cornerback Jason McCourty will again sign with the Patriots after joining his brother Devin in their secondary team for the 2018 season. McCourty signs a two-year contract while his brother prepares for the final year of his contract. It remains to be seen if it will be their last year on the same team.
McCourty participated in all Patriots games last year and has started 12 regular season games as well as all three playoff competitions. He finished the regular season with 70 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble.
McCourty also featured one of the biggest games in the Super Bowl LIII when he found the ball and broke a pass to Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks in the end zone as the Patriots clung to a lead 3-0 in the second half.
