The National Association of Basketball Players announced Monday that Celtics striker Jaylen Brown had been elected vice president and that he would serve his three-year term on the executive committee. The 22-year-old had previously acted as the alternate representative of the Boston Celtics.
Andre Iguodala of the Golden State Warriors was elected first vice president of NBPA, replacing LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, whose four-year term had expired. In addition to Brown, Malcolm Brogdon of Milwaukee Bucks and Bismack Biyombo of the Charlotte Hornets have all been elected vice-chairs of the executive committee. The three replace Carmelo Anthony, Stephen Curry and Iguodala.
