Bezos' comments are particularly relevant, as the company has been under intense scrutiny in recent years, particularly in its warehouses, which are critical to the success of Prime Day.

Several warehouse employees later confirmed this intense work environment to Business Insider, adding that constant monitoring and security cameras scattered around the warehouse gave employees the impression of To be "robots".
In recent years, some employees have used Prime Day as a time to protest against the company. This year, hundreds of people have used social media to call for a boycott of Amazon during the sales period. They urged consumers not to buy Prime Day offers and to show solidarity with the thousands of workers who planned to demonstrate for better pay and working conditions.
