The CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, is buying three apartments in a Manhattan building for about $ 80 million.
Bezos buys the penthouse and the two apartments below in a building on Fifth Avenue. The three apartments together measure more than 17,000 square feet and have 12 bedrooms, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.
The apartments were the second largest real estate property in New York this year, behind the nearly $ 240-million contract from funder Ken Griffin for a penthouse located at 220 Central Park South, announced the WSJ.
