Justin Wilson is back on the 10 day IL with the same left elbow pain that put it there a few weeks ago, according to several reports from Citi Field on Saturday.
Wilson entered IL on April 22 after feeling an embarrassment in his elbow. Everything seemed to be going well after he was rehabilitated, but on his last outing on May 6, he allowed two runs on three hits in one inning.
The 31-year-old, who signed a $ 10 million, two-year contract to become the market's indispensable left arm this season, hopes to find the cause of recurring pain. The Mets have another lefty in Luis Avilan on the IL, which leaves Daniel Zamora as the only lefty in the pen.
