Jen Shah looked at me with ‘terror and fear’ upon her arrest

Whitney Rose knew something was going on when Jen Shah removed her mic while getting on the bus for their trip with the cast.

While Rose, 34, had no idea that federal agents were looking for Shah, 47 at the time, she knew it had to be serious, because removing your mic has become a sin for “housewives.”

“I mean, taking the mic off is like a no-no. We don’t do that, ”Rose told Page Six. “Actually, I guess I’m throwing a lot of slime at women who turn off their mics. But when Jen looked at me with sheer terror and fear… I just knew – I saw the fear in her eyes. And I can’t help it. I’m just a girl of girls, like, I’m gonna do it.

Shah was arrested in March by federal agents for allegedly running a multi-state telemarketing program spanning nearly a decade.

His assistant Stuart Smith – who was also featured in “RHOSLC” – was also arrested.

Rose added that the aftermath of Shah’s arrest was “a really difficult situation to deal with.”

“Jen and I’s story has not been the best,” she explained. “However, prior to his arrest, we had started over and started on a very good path trying to tolerate each other, build friendships and be kind to each other.”

She added, “By that, I mean, Jen was really nice to me. So it was really hard because, you know, she’s accused of such great things. But it’s my job to choose what kind of thing. friend I am, and I chose to match Jen with whatever Jen gives me.

Shah’s trial is set for March 2022, but it’s unclear if she still has Rose’s support.

Rose recently dubbed her the “fake” actress on their show.
