Jenna Dewan celebrates her ‘rainbow baby’ Callum’s first birthday as she ‘thanks the universe’ for her baby boy
Jenna Dewan learned she was pregnant with her first child, a son, with her fiance Steve Kazee in the summer of 2019.
And on Saturday, the 40-year-old actress happily celebrated the first birthday of her ‘rainbow baby’ Callum, whom she welcomed into the world in March 2020.
To mark the occasion, Jenna uploaded an adorable side-by-side snapshot of Callum to Instagram that showed him posing next to a photo of himself as a newborn baby.

“I cut half of the frame while taking this photo because I was too blown away…!” she explained the image in the caption of her post.
“ The fact that this little baby angel is one year old today blows me away. ”
In the photo, Callum looked adorable in a beige jumpsuit as he sat outside her crib at the Los Angeles home that Jenna shares with her fiance.
“Callum, you came to this world and you changed it the moment you were here… you brought with you pure joy, pure love and a little spark of the divine that I feel I never did. never leave, ”gushed the mother of two.
The Step Up star went on to write about how her boy has gathered everyone around him ‘like the shining sun’, which everyone is happy to ‘enjoy’ all day long.

“It’s an absolute gift and honor to be your mom.
With COVID-19 still very dangerous, Dewan apologized for not being able to have a suitable birthday for Callum.
“ I also think that’s part of your magic … showing us all how amazing it is to slow down, focus on what matters and be together as a family. ”
She ended by gushing about how she, Kazee and her daughter Everly, whom she shares with her ex-husband and actor Channing Tatum, “ thank the universe for you every day and we love you beyond our little rainbow baby !!! ”

Dewan also shares a photo of his ‘rainbow baby’ sitting on his daddy’s lap, and another of him crawling on the floor with six rainbow emojis hovering beside him.
To close her Instagram story, Jenna uploaded a boomerang video of herself raising her right arm triumphantly in a cropped white t-shirt.
“ And I think moms should celebrate their children’s BIRTHDAYS too …! she captioned the image before adding, “ We are all wonderful women. ”
A “rainbow baby” is a term often used to describe a child born into a family who has previously suffered a miscarriage or pregnancy loss.
