LOS ANGELES (CNS) – A private plane carrying actresses Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox lost one of its four rear tires, leaving LAX on Friday, but landed safely at another Southern California airport.

The Gulfstream G-4 took off from the Los Angeles International Airport around 11:00 am to go to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, said Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor.

The aircraft flew over Ontario International Airport to burn fuel before landing at approximately 1400 hours. without incident, according to the FAA and airport officials.

Ontario police and fire departments were on hand to help the aircraft as it landed, airport officials said.

TMZ.com reported that former co-stars of "Friends" were among the passengers on the plane. The plane was carrying a total of 10 passengers and two crew members, according to airport officials in Ontario.
