The Friends the reunion was long overdue by fans, especially after being delayed for a year due to coronavirus concerns. When it finally aired in May of this year, things got touching for viewers and actors alike who came together again. Jennifer Aniston told Rob Lowe on her podcast Literally! that she was surprised how painful it was to see the old set and his co-stars.

“We didn’t know what it would look like,” Aniston told Lowe, meaning the reunion. “I mean, we’ve been hearing about it for a long time, [and] we knew people wanted it – the fans really wanted some kind of reunion.

“I think it really took us a lot longer than we expected,” she continued. “In your mind, you think, ‘Oh, that will be really fun time travel … Turns out time travel is a little hard.’

The set for Friends had pretty much been rebuilt for the event, and she was surprised at how carefully it was preserved, claiming that the meeting space had “exactly the same everything, down to the little tchotchkes on the shelves and little tiny things that had been stored space out [the] All the time.”

It’s always a bit of a shock to realize how much time has passed, and Aniston found herself thinking about aging.

“All of a sudden there you are, and, you know, 16 years old… a lot has happened for each of us,” she said. “Sixteen years ago we all had wide eyes, bushy tails, and we kind of had our whole life ahead of us, even though we were heartbroken to say goodbye to those 10 years and… the work that we all loved to do. .

“So going back there is nostalgic in a way that’s also a little melancholy, you know, because a lot has changed,” she said. “We’ve all taken different paths … Some easy and some not so easy, for each of us.”

Aniston added, “It was brutal … And you can’t turn it off either!” … There are cameras everywhere and I can’t stop crying.

Apparently everyone shed a tear except “maybe David didn’t… I don’t think we broke David”.

These are the kinds of details we all want, but sadly Jennifer Aniston has no plans to talk about her life just yet. In a recent interview with Charm, she said there was no memory project in her future.

“Nah. I’m saying that now, but you know, four or five years from now, and I might be like, I’m going to write a memoir! But I’m still living it. I have nothing to remember just yet… There is has a lot of things when you think about it, but I still feel like I just arrived.

This must mean that we won’t hear from any more rumors of a relationship with David Schwimmer and their early romantic tensions, not for another four or five years at least.
