Jennifer Garner thanked her social media followers for helping her reach the 10 million mark by recreating a sexy bikini scene from her hit TV show A.k.a.
The actress, 48, took to Instagram on Friday to post a hilarious video of herself parodying a moment from the show, which ran from 2001 to 2006, in which she played double agent Sydney Bristow.
“I am extremely grateful to everyone in this community,” she wrote. “To celebrate all 10 million of you here is THE video I promised my manager (hi, @nksolaka) and publicist (hi, @mereowass) that I would never post because …” dropping old lady and crying emojis.
In the scene, Garner slowly emerges from a swimming pool sporting a turquoise bikini. She dons a pair of matching blue heels and proceeds to take off her bikini top as she walks over to a cabin as The Cars’ “Moving in Stereo” plays. The scene was a nod to the classic Fast Times at Ridgemont High scene in which actress Phoebe Cates makes a similar outing in a red bikini.
In the current version, Garner is covered in a modest wetsuit, slips on his comfy slippers, and throws a pair of glasses over his shoulder. Removing the costume, she disappears into the courtyard.
Giving up on life amid the pandemic, Garner vowed she would return next year. “At some point in 2021 ladies I’ll try to be cute just for you. #thankyou, ”she joked.
In September, the actress teamed up with Dr Anthony Fauci, the country’s leading infectious disease specialist, to host an Instagram discussion on parenting during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Garner, who shares three children – Violet, 14; Seraphina, 11 years old; and Samuel, 8 – with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, asked Fauci for advice on managing anxiety in children.
“You can traumatize a child by really trying to make him a hermit,” said Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. “You have to be practical.”
Fauci advised allowing children to do activities that avoid physical contact.
“If you can, if possible – and I know, I had three young children years ago; It is very difficult to keep them separate from each other – but if you want to have organized activities, do your best to do things where they don’t fall on top of each other, where they can have social contact without necessarily breathe. on top of each other, ”he says.
