The cast of Ryan Reynolds’ new Netflix movie The Adam Project continues to fill up, with a 13 Going on 30 reunion between Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo.

Garner, 48, signed up last week to play Reynolds’ mother in the time travel adventure, although now Ruffalo, 53, has come on board as a father, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Catherine Keener also joined the burgeoning cast, alongside Walker Scobell and Alex Mallari Jr. in the Netflix Project, directed by Shawn Levy (Free Guy).

Scobell will make his professional acting debut in the film, playing the younger version of Reynolds’ character.

Mallari plays the villain’s right hand, with previously chosen Zoe Saldana playing the wife of Reynolds’ character.

Production is currently underway in Reynolds’ hometown of Vancouver, with the actor reuniting with his Free Guy director Shawn Levy.

Levy is directing a screenplay by Jonathan Tropper (Banshee), based on an earlier screenplay by TS Nowlin (The Maze Runner).

Levy also produces through his company 21 Laps, alongside Maximum Effort by Reynolds and Skydance by David Ellison.

The project is the first film to be produced as part of Reynolds’ new initiative The Group Project, aimed at giving people of color a chance to work on its films.

Reynolds and Levy’s new film, Free Guy, was originally scheduled for release in July, before being pushed back to December 11, although earlier this month it was pushed back to 2021.

Ruffalo was recently seen in the Emmy Award-winning HBO miniseries I Know This Much Is True.

Garner will next be seen in Yes Day with Edgar Ramirez, who plays parents who have to say yes to whatever their kids ever ask for.
