Jennifer Garner has good news for “Alias” fans.
In a new interview, the 48-year-old actress recently revealed that she was open to a reboot of the popular spy thriller, which aired on ABC from 2001 to 2006.
“Sign me up,” Garner told The Hollywood Reporter Wednesday for her latest cover issue. “[I’ll] grabs Bradley [Cooper — her former co-star and dear friend] through the skin of his neck. “
“Alias” saw Garner portray Sydney Bristow, a CIA double agent posing as an agent of the SD-6 criminal organization while keeping his identity a secret from family and friends.

The spy series created by JJ Abrams starred Garner, Ron Rifkin and Cooper.

Although Garner has expressed interest in a reboot, nothing has yet been confirmed regarding the return of the series.
In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter in 2018, Garner once again spoke about a potential “Alias” reboot and revealed that it would be “totally different.”
“I heard there was an Alias reboot, but no one told me about it,” she told the outlet. “I mean, it would be totally different. But if they didn’t have me as a guest, I’d be very, very angry.”
“But I still can’t imagine it being that bad because I haven’t heard any at all,” she added at the time.

Garner also opened up about his divorce from Ben Affleck in the same interview.

Meanwhile, in her last interview with the publication, Garner also opened up about her high-profile split from Ben Affleck in 2015 and recalled the dream she thought she lost after the divorce.
“Living it in public is not what’s difficult, going through it is what’s difficult, A,” she said of the divorce, which was finalized in 2018. “And B, eyes of my children are on me. “

In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2016 after the news of the split, Garner lamented “[losing] the dream of dancing with [her] husband to [her] her daughter’s marriage “- but now that Garner and Affleck have managed to establish strong co-parenting skills, the actress doesn’t worry anymore.
“When our kids get married we’ll dance, I know that now,” Garner said. “We’re going to boogaloo and have a good time. I don’t worry about that anymore.”

Garner shares three children – Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9 – with Affleck. The couple married in 2005 before leaving 10 years later.
