Jennifer Garner hilariously recreated a scorching scene from her hit show “Alias” 17 years later, with a few tweaks.
To celebrate reaching 10 million Instagram followers, the 48-year-old actress and mother of three released a side-by-side video that she wrote in the caption that she “promised” to her manager and to her publicist that she “would never publish”. “
“At some point in 2021, ladies, I’ll try to be cute just for you,” Garner added.
In the video, the actress channeled her “Alias” character, Sydney Bristow, and recreated a scene from season two, episode 14 (titled “Double Agent”) of the hit ABC spy show. Footage from the 2003 episode showed Sydney stepping out of a swimming pool in a bikini, slipping on blue heels, drying off with a towel and taking off her top.
The scene itself was a nod to “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” in which Linda Barrett’s (Phoebe Cates) character had a similar slow-motion pool scene.
In the updated version of Garner’s scene, the actress wore a black wetsuit as she stepped out of the pool with a pair of goggles. Instead of putting on heels, she opted for a pair of comfortable Uggs slippers.

Garner’s friends and followers loved his game and called it “the best.”
“Grey’s Anatomy” star Jessica Capshaw commented, “I love you. You. MOST in a sheepskin-lined jumpsuit and shoes … GG … genius and gorgeous.”
“Good Morning America” anchor Robin Roberts sprang on Garner, saying, “Just when I think I probably couldn’t worship you more than I already do! make you smile. You are a gem, Jen. “
“Thor” actress Kat Dennings said the video was “the best thing I’ve ever seen” and “AKA” alum Gina Torres called it “the best.”
Garner rose to fame in the early 2000s for his double agent role on “Alias,” which spanned five seasons between 2001 and 2006.
In 2002, the role won her first Golden Globes award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Drama Television Series. She went on to receive three other Golden Globe nominations, in addition to four Emmy nominations.
