Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez brought their romance to 2021.
Following the 51-year-old pop star’s performance on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin ‘Eve,” she and Rodriguez, 45, watched the ball drop and sounded the New Year with a midnight kiss.
The former Yankee performed perfectly as the supportive fiancé, standing beside the stage, applauding Lopez as she performed a mix of hits, including “Waiting for Tonight” and covering Aerosmith’s “Dream On”.
Although the couple have twice postponed their wedding due to the pandemic, 2021 may be their year.
“We kind of let it go for a second, and I don’t know what we’re going to do, we’re talking small, big,” Lopez said in early December.
“And I think we just feel like, ‘Let’s just wait for the end.’ There is no rush, we are good, everything is cool and it will happen when the time is right. I feel like it’s not a top priority to go have a big wedding now, that’s not what life is.
Lopez and Rodriguez started dating in March 2017 and got engaged two years later.
