Jennifer Lopez postpones Madison Square Garden show after New York power outage

Jennifer Lopez refuses to let the power outage of New York ruin the celebrations of her 50th birthday with the fans of her hometown.

The Bronx star had posted video messages in which she was "devastated and heartbroken" by the power outage forcing her to end Saturday's show shortly after her appearance at Madison Square Garden.

A few hours later, a few hours later, she released another video in which she claimed that MSG "worked feverishly" to let her play Monday night. JLo has also reorganized its tour program "It's Party" to get there.

"It's going to take more power out of the city scale to shut us up!", She wrote in parallel to the concert video announcement hastily reprogrammed, part of the tour celebrating its 50th anniversary on July 24th.

"We will have the most beautiful party of all time," promised the singer, chuckling as she said, "No blackouts this time!"

MSG confirmed Monday's concert and announced that the original tickets for Saturday's show would be honored for the new show, which would begin at 8 pm

The star's first video behind the scenes, apologizing for having to end the show early, was interrupted by security messages sent by the PA system demanding a complete evacuation of the site.

"I love you, I'm really sorry it happened in the middle of our special moment," she told the fans.

"You will get your money's worth and we will come back to make an incredible show," she promised.
