Jennifer Lopez was left "devastated" when a power outage in New York forced her to cancel her concert.
On Saturday night, Midtown Manhattan was hit by a major power outage, allegedly caused by a transformer fire. At that time, Lopez was ready to step onto the Madison Square Garden stage to participate in his It's My Party tour. Unfortunately, due to the power outage, the singer's concert was forced to evacuate.
Lopez went on Instagram during the evacuation, apologizing to his fans.
"The food is cut off in New York and MSG, heartbroken to say that tonight's show is canceled," she wrote with a video message. "We will reschedule, I love you all !!! Stay safe!"
"Devastated and sorry that I can not play for you tonight," added Lopez. "We will do that, I promise you! I love you !!"
The singer "On the Floor" then came back on social media to give an update to her fans.
"ANNOUNCEMENT: It will take more than a blackout all over the city to stop us! Lopez wrote. "Reprogram the show for Monday night!"
Lopez's fiance, Alex Rodriguez, was at his side during Saturday's chaos, calling him the "craziest" day of the year "by far".
"1. Blackout NYC 2. Plane Malfunction of the plane 3. Now, ride by bus," wrote Rodriguez.
The current has been restored in New York, so it seems that Lopez is ready to go on stage Monday!
