Jenny Mollen and her family had "a traumatic week".
The actress best known for her role in the television series "Angel" revealed that she had accidentally dropped and injured the 5-year-old son that she shares with her husband Jason Biggs.
"Saturday night, I left my son on his head, causing him to fracture his skull and bring him to the USI," wrote Mollen in the caption of a photo of She's holding her son on her Instagram account. "I am forever grateful to Lenox Hill, Downtown and @nyphospital for their immediate response and assistance."
Mollen and Biggs have two boys: Sid, age 5, and Lazlo, 1 year old. The couple hide the faces of their children when they publish information about them on social media.
It's Sid who was injured and Mollen offered a "Thank you to all the nurses, neurologists, pediatricians, residents, cafeteria staff and brave women who keep the visitors' bathrooms clean."
She also thanked Biggs and presented a status report on their son.
"It's been a traumatic week, but Sid has come home, he's slowly picking things up and getting things right," Mollen wrote. "He also eats a lot of ice cream cone soaked in chocolate and is considering trying the cherry soaked soon."
