Jessica Biel jokes her forgetfulness was due to a ‘baby brain’ while promoting the series

With two young sons and high profile careers, Jessica Biel and her husband Justin Timberlake have had their hands full trying to prioritize their time.

And now the 38-year-old actress realizes the side effects of this balance and motherhood.

While attending the Television Critics Association’s Winter 2021 virtual panel for her new drama-thriller series, Cruel Summer, on Friday, February 26, Biel forgot to answer a question, which she joked about because of a ‘ “ baby’s brain ”.

Cruel Summer is Biel’s first project since the birth of her son Phineas last year.

She is the executive producer of the show starring Olivia Holt, Chiara Aurelia, Froy Gutierrez Barrett Carnahan, Blake Lee, Allius Barnes, Harley Quinn Smith, Michael Landes and Brooklyn Sudano.

News broke that the actress gave birth to her second child with husband Justin Timberlake in July 2020, though the couple did not officially confirm the news until earlier this year.

The couple are also proud parents of five-year-old Silas.

Last month, Timberlake confessed that it was an adjustment to have two small children in their household.

“ His name is Phineas, and he’s awesome and so cute, and no one is sleeping, ” the Cry Me A River frontman said during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“But we are delighted. We are delighted and could not be happier. Very grateful.’

Giving an appearance of weariness, the 40-year-old pop star has used a few common football defense strategies to describe how he and his wife sometimes watch their boys.

“It’s a lot of fun, but I guess the saying goes, ‘Go from zone defense to man to man very quickly,” he said.

“You’re going to get that one, I’m going to get that one. But it’s great and Silas is super excited. Right now he likes her a lot but, you know, Phin can’t walk or chase him yet, so, I don’t know, we’ll see what will happen.

Cruel Sumer will air on Freeform on April 20 and the next day on Hulu.
