Less than 12 hours after being kicked in the head, Jessica Eye seems to be fine.
Eye challenged Valentina Shevchenko for the flyweight title at the UFC 238 main event on Saturday in Chicago, a fight that ended early in the second round when Shevchenko's shin was connected to the front Eye. The impact left the eye flat on the back and remained motionless on the carpet for an endless period.
On Sunday, Eye wrote two tweets congratulating Shevchenko on his victory and thanking his supporters.
Congratulations @BulletValentina it was incredible head shot. I am grateful for the chance to share the cage with you.

To my true followers: thank you very much for everything you do for me. I'm fine and thank you for taking care of me. I made a great camp and I felt the best of my life. I made mistakes that cost me dearly. This fighting game can sometimes be difficult, but that's what I signed.
