Jessica Simpson hilariously weighed in on Subway’s latest trial.
This month, the fast food giant was sued for fraud by two plaintiffs who claim the sandwich chain does not use real tuna in its tuna sandwiches. The fast food giant denied the allegations on Friday, writing: “There is simply no truth to the allegations in the California complaint. Subway delivers 100% cooked tuna to its restaurants, which is mixed with of mayonnaise and used in making sandwiches, wraps and salads which are served and enjoyed by our customers. “
Enter Simpson, who reacted to the viral news on Twitter on Friday.

The tweet from the mother-of-three comes 17 years after admitting she was unsure whether she was eating chicken or tuna while consuming sea tuna chicken.
“Is it chicken that I have, or is it fish? I know it’s tuna, but does that say chicken … by the sea?” Simpson asked Lachey during the 2003 episode of their old MTV reality show, “Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica”.

Lachey, who was shocked at his then-wife’s request, tried to explain, “’Chicken of the Sea’ is the brand because, you know, a lot of people eat tuna, and a lot of people eat tuna. chicken, so it’s like ‘Chicken of the sea.’ “
“I understand now, I misread it,” Simpson replied.
