Jessica Simpson reveals she contracted coronavirus as she reveals cover for her new trial

Jessica Simpson revealed that she contracted coronavirus last year when she revealed the cover of her new trial, Take The Lead.

Although she did not specify exactly when the health scare arose, Simpson, 40, said she tested positive for the virus the same day she started writing her original story. from Amazon.

“ This past year has been particularly intense for me and for many of you, ” Jessica wrote in the caption of her cover story. “ I started writing this essay on the same day that I received a positive test result for COVID-19.

“ I decided that instead of being pushed by fear, I would manifest a hopeful conversation with you. I felt strong, resilient, and inspired by God through my pen teaching me as I shared with you the ways to get to the other side of fear.

Simpson’s new essay Take The Lead is just one of two it will release as part of its partnership with Amazon Studios.

She will also create a scripted series chronicling her life in her mid-twenties and an unscripted documentary series based on her memoir Open Book with Amazon.

Simpson recently released the paperback version of his bestselling Open Book, and on Sunday shared a diary entry included in the new version.

Jessica wrote: ‘Could the songbird no longer have the buzz to make others fly. Did she lose her flight to somewhere out there, over there, outside of the inside. Does she no longer have the strong wings to soar … Maybe she has become the blue bird, whose song will finally be heard.

In the accompanying passage, Simpson opened up about how she “ suppressed ” her true emotions in order to be the happy singer the world expected of her.

“Birds are always important to me,” Simpson wrote in a passage from the book. “ There is a poem by Charles Bukowski that describes the bluebird in his heart desperate to escape.

“ He thought he had to keep it low to look tough, and I thought I had to remove mine because people wanted the happy songbird, not the bluebird, which represented my true soul. I was wrong. Now I know that the two birds can and should coexist.

The blockbuster memoir revealed Simpson’s addiction issues, his marriage to ex Nick Lachey, and his childhood sexual abuse.

The delicate topics covered in Simpson’s book, however, are not out of bounds for discussion at her home.

Simpson recently revealed that she was ‘very open’ about the sexual abuse she suffered as a young girl with her children.

“They read part of it,” she recently told Good Morning America. “There is nothing that is forbidden. We are very open as a family. For me, when I talk about sexual abuse and the like, it happened to me when I was younger than them and at their age. So, this is something that we are very open to.

Simpson revealed in his Open Book memoir that a family friend’s daughter sexually assaulted her when she was six.

The singer kept it a secret for years and didn’t tell her parents about it until six years after the debut.
