Jessica Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson announced Wednesday on social networks that the fashion designer had given birth to their new daughter Birdie Mae. The baby, weighing 10 pounds 13 ounces, is the third child of the couple together. Johnson and Simpson are also parents of Maxwell, his 6-year-old daughter, and his 5-year-old son Ace. Simpson had previously revealed that they were waiting again in an Instagram post in September.
Jessica Simpson explained this week that she was the mother of three children ages 7 and under.
"Three kids, it's not a joke," she told People. "It's definitely constant, and the biggest challenge for me is trying to be present while I'm trained in so many directions."

Simpson added, "They are all in such different phases now."
Simpson and her husband, 39-year-old former NFL player Eric Johnson, share three children: their 7-year-old daughter Maxwell; Ace son, 6 years old; and their last comer, Birdie Mae, 3 months old, whom the couple welcomed in May.
As for his youngest daughter, Simpson said the little girl was "so precious," especially when she was showing off her dimples.
"Birdie is so precious. She is a smiling little angel today. It's the best thing in the world to see and feel his smile. It's filling the room, "she told the magazine.
