Jessie James Decker won’t let critics stop her from enjoying her final vacation, as she posts bikini photos of the beach with hubby Eric Decker more than a month after responding in tears to people who made her shame in a Reddit thread.
On Sunday, the 33-year-old shared a pair of photos on her Instagram account where she wears a multi-colored bikini while posing with her husband. The occasion, she explained, was to celebrate the release of her latest song “Should Have Known Better”.
While people praised Jessie’s success in the comments, many have commented on the singer’s physique as well. One commentator even asked how she could have received so much hate about her body in the recent past.
“It was hurtful,” Jessie replied, referring to comments on Reddit which she said mentioned how “fat” she was and how “terrible” her body looked. “It was photos and videos right after our Italy-Greece trip where I just wanted to live, eat and drink wine and have fun and yes I won happy books !!
Jessie had previously explained how the humiliating comments made her feel in a series of Instagram stories on July 13. ”
Still, the mother-of-three continued to post photos showing off her figure. She even shared that she was able to channel negativity into creating her latest clip and preparing it.
“[I] I broke my butt at the gym anyway because I had a music video shoot to get ready after we got back. But the moral of the story for me is not to let this [people] tell me more as long as you feel good and happy about yourself, that’s all that matters, “Jessie’s response continued to a commentator.” But I’ll say that motivated me while filming my clip and maybe the song’s message meant something different to me! “
