The Jets have reportedly agreed to terms with former Titans wide receiver Corey Davis.
Former Titans’ WR Corey Davis has come to an agreement on a three-year, $ 37.5 million deal, including $ 27 million guaranteed with the New York Jets, the sources say.

After a relatively quiet first few hours of free agency left a large chunk of Jets fans unhappy, Davis represents the first major addition of the offseason.
Davis was selected by the Titans in fifth overall in 2017, a spot ahead of where the Jets chose Jamal Adams. While his career started a bit slow, he had the best season of his career in 2020, recording 65 catches for 984 yards and 5 touchdowns.
My first thought is that it looks like a really solid deal for the Jets on paper. Davis should be a big upgrade to a position of major need. We don’t know who the quarterback will be, but that player should be helped by Davis’ presence.
We will have more in the coming days.
In the meantime, I’ll appreciate the Jets for making this move within minutes of writing an article about the sluggishness of the first day of free agency.
